Parker waived his preliminary hearing Tuesday for a marijuana possession charge. No court date has been set.|||||||
Parker is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana stemming from a traffic stop early on Aug. 5 near the team's training camp at Lehigh University. He was riding in a van driven by offensive lineman Todd Herremans when the vehicle was pulled over. Police say Parker admitted the marijuana belonged to him. He played four seasons with Tennessee before joining the Eagles in 2005. He was a full-time starter last year for the first time in his career.
Parker was arrested early Wednesday on a marijuana possession charge in northeast Pennsylvania. Lower Saucon Township police say the Parker was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation at 12:33 a.m. near the Eagles training camp at Lehigh University.|||||||
Parker was found to be in possession of "a small amount of marijuana" and was taken to Northampton County Prison, police said. Parker was released after posting $1,000 bail later Wednesday morning, a prison official said. Eagles coach Andy Reid said he was aware of the incident, and that his team's curfew was 1 a.m.
