Cribbs has apologized for his profane tweet following the Cleveland Browns' latest loss. Cribbs said Wednesday that he was mad at himself for muffing a punt, angry that it contributed to a 34-12 setback in Denver, then enraged when he got several derogatory messages.||||||| Cribbs responded Sunday by sending out, "See all the negativity on twitter after I gave my life to this .... . So 2 all u who are against me .... all y'all! I'm still gonna do me!" Cribbs said he won't get caught doing it again, realizes true Browns fans would not try to tweak him, and the best way to make amends is to play well in the final game in Pittsburgh.

Cribbs is practicing for the first time since sustaining a concussion in Cleveland's loss at Baltimore.||||||| Cribbs was injured in the first quarter Thursday night, when he was flattened while returning a kickoff by Ravens linebacker Dannell Ellerbe. The impact knocked Cribbs' helmet off and his head smacked the ground as he fell. Cribbs did not return to the 23-16 loss and sat out practice Monday. Cribbs had been in on six offensive plays and appeared to have a major role in the game plan before he was injured.

Cribbs is among six players not practicing with the Cleveland Browns.||||||| Cribbs and fellow wide receivers Mohamed Massaquoi and Travis Benjamin were not on the field Monday. Cribbs sustained a concussion during Cleveland's 23-16 loss Thursday night in Baltimore. His helmet flew off and he hit the turf with the back of his head after being tackled.

Cribbs is returning to his former spot as Cleveland's special teams specialist, playing on all of its return and coverage units.||||||| Cribbs, 29, already owns the NFL record with eight career kickoff return touchdowns - one more than Seattle's Leon Washington - and averaged 25.0 yards per runback last season.
