Washington Redskins receiver Joshua Morgan says he's not concerned about the death threats on Twitter that followed his fourth-quarter blunder in the loss to the St. Louis Rams.|||||||
Morgan talked Wednesday about the venomous tweets he's received since his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for throwing the ball at another player. The penalty cost the Redskins valuable field position during the team's final drive in Sunday's 31-28 defeat. Morgan says the only thing he takes seriously "is football and my family and nothing really scares me. I'm from D.C." Morgan says he's been fined over the play but doesn't know the amount.
Morgan is running, and even sprinting, again on the surgically repaired right leg that limited him to only five games in 2011 for the NFC West champions.|||||||
Morgan broke a bone in his lower leg Oct. 9 against Tampa Bay, had surgery to have screws inserted and was placed on season-ending injured reserve. While Morgan is set to become a free agent, coach Jim Harbaugh has said the team plans to bring him back for next season.

San Francisco placed Morgan on the season-ending injured reserve list Wednesday after he was hurt late in a 48-3 victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday. The 26-year-old Morgan, a fourth-year pro out of Virginia Tech, has 15 catches for 220 yards and one touchdown for the 49ers (4-1).
