The Titans waived Babineaux on Tuesday.|||||||
Babineaux had signed a two-year deal in March 2012 after joining the Titans just after the NFL lockout ended for the 2011 season. The safety played in all 16 games but started only 12. He was due to earn $1.6 million this season but became expendable when the Titans signed George Wilson last month.

Babineaux rejoined the Seahawks on Tuesday, a day after he was waived by the team. To make room on the 53-man roster, the Seahawks waived defensive tackle Craig Terrill. Babineaux has spent his entire career with the Seahawks. He started all 16 games last season but was beaten out for a starting job in training camp by rookie Earl Thomas.
Babineaux was suspended Saturday by the NFL for next week's season opener. Babineaux was fined a second game check for violating the league's substance abuse policy.|||||||
