Goodwin left Sunday's game at Carolina in the second quarter with a left knee injury.||||||| Saints coach Sean Payton said he was encouraged that Goodwin's injury may not be serious, and the coach told the New Orleans Times-Picayune that he would make the trip to London for Sunday's game against San Diego.

The Jets re-signed Goodwin on Tuesday. The reserve offensive lineman and special teamer made his first three starts of his career in 2004 for New York when he filled in at guard for the injured Brandon Moore. Goodwin was taken by the Jets in the fifth round of the 2002 draft.|||||||
