Dwyer and Isaac Redman will likely battle for the starting running back spot next season. Dwyer and Redman combined for 1,033 yards rushing and four touchdowns in 2012 but struggled staying healthy.
While Isaac Redman got the start Monday night, Dwyer received the bulk of carries as Pittsburgh defeated Kansas City 16-13 in overtime.|||||||
Dwyer, who rushed for 56 yards on 19 attempts, has yet to score this season. Fantasy owners should stay away from the Steelers' messy backfield situation, especially with Ben Roethlisberger's status uncertain.
