Ryan has a new multiyear deal with the Seahawks. The team confirmed the signing Wednesday, but did not release details. Canadian Press reported Ryan's deal as a $9.1 million, six-year extension to remain with the team.||||||| The native of Regina, Saskatchewan just finished his fourth season in the NFL and averaged 46.2 yards per kick, good for eighth in the league and the best mark of his career. His 38.7 net average was also the highest in his four seasons.

The Seahawks signed veteran punter yan to take Ryan Plackemeier's spot.||||||| Ryan kicked for two seasons in Green Bay, averaging 44.5 yards per punt, but was released at the end of training camp. Ryan agreed to a two-year deal.
