Moffitt is expected to undergo surgery on his left elbow and miss the next two to three weeks.|||||||
Moffitt's elbow has been causing problems for him recently and forced him to leave practice early on Thursday. His left arm was in a sling during Friday's walkthrough.

The Seahawks made the roster moves on Tuesday. Moffitt, the Seahawks' rookie right guard, suffered a pair of torn knee ligaments in Sunday's 22-17 victory over Baltimore when he got caught up in a pile. An MRI revealed tears of the MCL and PCL ligaments in his right knee. Moffitt had started all nine games for Seattle after being selected in the third round of the April draft.
