Haden is active for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh.||||||| Cleveland is 0-5 this year when Haden has been out. He missed last week's overtime loss in Dallas due to an abdominal injury and replacement Buster Skrine committed three key penalties in his place. The depleted secondary made seven of Cleveland's 12 total penalties, including two each by veterans Sheldon Brown and T.J. Ward.

Haden missed his second day of practice with an oblique injury and could be sidelined for Sunday's game in Dallas.||||||| Haden was not on the field for the portion of practice open to the media. Haden got hurt during Wednesday's workout and did not practice on Thursday. Browns coach Pat Shurmur is expected to provide an update on Haden, who missed four games earlier this season when he was suspended for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances. The Browns lost all four games without Haden.

Haden acknowledged he tested positive for the stimulant Adderall, leading to his four-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on banned substances.||||||| Haden returned to the Browns on Monday for the first time since he was suspended. Haden apologized to Cleveland's fans, his teammates and coaches "for my very dumb mistake." Haden said he "hurt a lot of people for the decision that I made, and I apologize from the bottom of my heart." The Browns lost all four games while Haden was suspended.

Browns president Mike Holmgren says Haden has appealed a suspension by the NFL and is awaiting a decision from the league.||||||| Holmgren said in a radio interview Tuesday on 92.3 The Fan that Haden has had an appeal hearing. Holmgren's comments were the first confirming Haden is facing a possible suspension for failing a drug test.
