Indianapolis has lost Powers and defensive tackle Drake Nevis for the rest of the season.||||||| Both were placed on injured reserve Monday. Powers injured the big toe on his right foot. Powers is likely to be replaced in the lineup by Darius Butler, who had two interceptions and recovered a fumble last week.

The winless Indianapolis Colts have put Powers on injured reserve, ending his season.||||||| Powers started all 12 games, intercepted two passes and returned one for a touchdown before hurting his elbow in Sunday's 31-24 loss at New England.

Powers is expected to miss an indefinite number of games after having surgery on his broken right forearm.||||||| Colts coach Jim Caldwell says the team is waiting to see how surgery goes before making a decision about putting him on injured reserve. Powers has two interceptions this season and is fourth on the Colts with 53 tackles. Losing Powers is yet another blow to an already depleted secondary. Bob Sanders went down six minutes into the season-opener and hasn't played since.
