The Green Bay Packers are hanging onto Finley.||||||| The Packers had to cut the mercurial tight end before 4 p.m. EDT Monday to avoid paying a $3 million roster bonus. After the deadline passed, Finley said on Twitter, "Ecstatic 2 b back w (at)packers. Best place on earth." Finley set a Packers record for receptions (61) by a tight end last season

Finley caught three passes for a season-high 66 yards and a TD in Sunday's win at Detroit.||||||| This is the kind of production Finley's fantasy owners expected the past two seasons but have not received. It's hard to tell if this is something positive going forward considering Aaron Rodgers has plenty of receiving options at his disposal.

Finley practiced Friday as he recovers from a partially dislocated shoulder suffered against Indianapolis on Oct. 7. The fifth-year veteran has played with the injury the last three games, but his production has been minimal with six catches for 67 yards and no touchdowns.||||||| Finley said he is fully recovered from the injury. As for getting things right between him and Aaron Rodgers after Finley has alluded to chemistry issues with his quarterback on several occasions this season
