Cutler completed just one of his first 11 passes, then went 5 of 5 on a touchdown drive in the final minutes of the first half. He finished 12 of 26 for 146 yards and a touchdown. He has not been good for fantasy owners this season.

Cutler says "unless something drastic happens, absolutely" he will be ready to play against the Packers after leaving Sunday's loss at Minnesota with a sore neck. He says he got treatment on Monday and "should be ready to go later in the week." Cutler spoke during his weekly appearance on the "Waddle & Silvy Show" on Chicago's WMVP-AM 1000.

Cutler took a hit to the head by Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen that drew a penalty, but he said afterward his neck was bothering him all afternoon and worsened as the game went on, complaining of stiffness. Cutler stayed in for the rest of that drive, but when the Bears got the ball back Jason Campbell was running the offense instead. Cutler, who missed a game last month because of a concussion, got up slowly after Griffen's hit.

Though the Bears lost, Cutler played one of his best games of the season. A deep drop by Earl Bennett prevented Cutler from an even bigger statistical contest.
