The Seahawks have placed CB Marcus Trufant on injured reserve because of a back spasms and signed DT Jason Shirley to their 53-man roster.

The Bengals waived OG Jason Shirley on Monday. Shirley was waived with a non-football injury after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in a charity basketball game in April.

Shirley was a defensive lineman from Fresno State when the Bengals took him in the fifth round of the draft in 2008. They moved him to the offensive line during training camp last year, and he spent the entire season in the practice squad. The Bengals announced the move on Monday.
A Fresno County judge has issued a warrant for Shirley, who is facing trial on suspicion of drunken driving. Shirley has until Tuesday morning to appear in court or the warrant will go into effect.|||||||
