Peters ruptured the Achilles tendon in his right leg on Tuesday, and surgery is required.||||||| Peters, who was undrafted out of Arkansas and has developed into a key cog on the Philadelphia offensive line, was injured while training in Texas. Surgery to repair the tendon is scheduled for Tuesday in Philadelphia, and will be performed by Dr. Steve Raikin of the Rothman Institute. Peters is a 6-foot-4, 340-pound native of Queen City, Texas.

Peters is inactive this Sunday against Washington.||||||| Peters has a left hamstring strain that coach Andy Reid calls "fairly significant." He developed into a Pro Bowler for the Bills.

Peters, the lone Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman in the same spot as he was a year ago, suffered an ankle injury in practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game with the Atlanta Falcons.||||||| Peters, a four-time Pro Bowl player, suffered the injury near the end of Friday's practice in a team drill. He limped out of the indoor practice facility accompanied by one of the team's trainers.

Peters is among three Eagles scheduled for MRI exams on Monday following injuries during Sunday's 13-9 loss at Oakland.||||||| Peters hurt his left knee midway through the first quarter and didn't return. Coach Andy Reid called Peters' injury a sprained knee, but it was thought to be worse.

The Bills agreed to trade Peters to the Philadelphia Eagles after failing to negotiate a new contract with the disgruntled two-time Pro Bowl selection.||||||| By landing Peters, the Eagles fill an immediate hole on their offensive line after left tackle Tra Thomas signed with Jacksonville in free agency last month. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 328 pounds, Peters completed his sixth season last year and was selected to his second consecutive Pro Bowl. He was an undrafted rookie out of Arkansas and broke in with the Bills as a tight end.
