The Browns signed Campbell to a two-year contract on Tuesday, bringing him to provide competition for fellow quarterback Brandon Weeden.|||||||
A first round pick by the Redskins in 2005, Campbell has started 77 games and thrown 76 touchdown passes in eight seasons. Weeden's starting spot might not be completely assured after an up-and-down rookie season.
Campbell will undergo surgery on his broken collarbone and says he could be back before the end of the season.|||||||
