Olawale fills the spot that opened when linebacker Rolando McClain was suspended for two games for conduct detrimental to the team. Olawale signed with Dallas as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas in May and spent training camp with the Cowboys before going on the practice squad. He was a wide receiver in college but moved to running back with the Cowboys.
