The Packers will have a first-round bye and won't play again until Jan. 15.
Starks will miss his second straight game because of an ankle injury and Brandon Saine is out after sustaining a concussion, leaving the Green Bay Packers with only two running backs for Sunday's game against Kansas City.|||||||
Make sure to get Starks on the bench before its too late. Even if healthy, he makes for a poor play against the Chicago Bears in Week 16.
Starks was active for Thursday's game against the Lions. He was listed as questionable with knee and ankle injuries after he was hurt late in last week's win against Tampa Bay.|||||||
Coach Mike McCarthy said the decision would be made before the game. Starks, the team's top rusher, was listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in a short walk-through session Wednesday. Starks suffered a sprained knee and an ankle injury in the final minutes of the win over Tampa Bay on Sunday. He was a limited participant in practice Tuesday, the only extensive on-field work the Packers had this week.

Starks hurt his knee late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's victory over Tampa Bay. The Packers did not practice Monday, but Starks likely would not have been able to go if they did. Packers coach Mike McCarthy says the injury isn't as bad as it appeared to be initially, and is holding out hope that Starks might be able to practice Tuesday.
