Redman and Jonathan Dwyer will likely battle for the starting running back spot next season. Dwyer and Redman combined for 1,033 yards rushing and four touchdowns in 2012 but struggled staying healthy.
Redman capped a career-best 147-yard rushing performance with a game-winning 1-yard touchdown run with 4:02 to go in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Giants.|||||||
Redman had 127 yards in five previous games this season.

With Johnathan Dwyer missing practice on Friday with a groin injury, Redman is expected to handle the majority of the workload. Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) has been considered likely to miss one more week.

Redman has been limited by ankle problems. Jonathan Dwyer, who rushed for 122 yards in a win over Cincinnati last week, will make his second career start.
Redman caught four passes for 105 yards for the Steelers before injuring his right ankle in the third quarter and never returned Thursday against the Titans.|||||||
This is not good news considering starter Rashard Mendenhall also suffered an injury.
