Dorsey played in just four games this season. He injured his left calf in practice in September and missed four games, then injured his right calf during a 31-13 loss to the Chargers on Nov. 1. The former first-round draft pick finishes the season with seven tackles and no sacks.

The former LSU star signed a $51 million, five-year deal last month. He was hurt when he collided with another lineman during practice. Dorsey, the fifth overall choice in the 2008 draft, agreed to a five-year deal with an option for a sixth year, Chiefs president Carl Peterson said on Saturday. The Chiefs have agreed to terms with 11 of their 12 draft picks. Still unsigned is tight end Michael Merritt, a seventh-round selection out of Central Florida.
