Foster is spending Monday night in the hospital for observation after injuring his right ankle in the first half of the Colts' matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.||||||| Foster was carted off the field after injuring the ankle in the second quarter of the Colts' Monday night matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The injury occurred with 52 seconds remaining in the half and the Colts leading 10-7. Foster got tangled up with the pile while trying to assist on a tackle and remained down after the play. He was immediately attended to by the training staff and fitted with an air cast.

Indianapolis Colts President Bill Polian says the team will not discipline Foster, who faces a sexual assault lawsuit. A 22-year-old hotel receptionist is suing Foster, claiming that he sexually assaulted her in his room at an Indianapolis hotel before the AFC Championship game Jan. 24.||||||| Polian said Wednesday that the team has no reason to discipline Foster because police investigated the incident and prosecutors later decided not to file charges. He says Foster remains with the team and will participate in its offseason program.

Foster faces allegations that he sexually assaulted a 22-year-old college student before the AFC Championship game. In a civil lawsuit, the woman accuses Foster of sexual assault, battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress.||||||| The woman's suit alleges the assault happened Jan. 24 at University Place Hotel at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis. The woman is a student at the school and a receptionist at the hotel. The suit alleges that Foster assaulted her when she delivered dental products to his room.
