Rodgers dropped out because of knee and ankle issues, so Manning joins Atlanta's Matt Ryan - unless the Falcons make the Super Bowl - and New Orleans' Drew Brees as NFC quarterbacks. This will be Manning's second Pro Bowl. He played in the game in Honolulu following the 2008 season. He also made the NFC squad last season, but the Giants won the NFC championship and then the Super Bowl.
Manning threw five touchdowns for the Giants in their 42-7 victory over the Eagles on Sunday.|||||||
He was 13 for 21 for 208 yards. He finished with 3,948 yards with 26 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.
Manning went 14 for 28 for 150 yards and was sacked three times in Sunday's 33-14 loss to the Ravens.|||||||
Manning avoided another game without a TD by connecting with Domenik Hixon late for a meaningless score. He threw for nearly 5,000 yards a year ago and sadly won't reach those heights in a disappointing 2012 for him and the defending Super Bowl champions.
