The Cardinals on Tuesday agreed on the terms of a two-year contract with Doucet.||||||| Terms of the deal weren't released. Doucet, a free agent, has played for the Cardinals since being drafted in the third round out of LSU in 2008. He had a career-high 54 receptions for 689 yards and five touchdowns in 2011.

Doucet was fined $10,000 for a fight with San Franciscon safety Dashon Goldson last Sunday.||||||| At the end of a play early in the fourth quarter, Goldson was down away from the ball when he got blindsided and slapped on the back of the helmet by Doucet. Goldson jumped up, confronted him and both began swinging wildly. Goldson then threw a series of punches to Doucet's facemask and received a 15-yard personal foul penalty before being ejected. The 49ers won the game 23-7.

The Arizona Cardinals have placed Doucet on injured reserve, ending the third-year pro's season with two games to go.||||||| Doucet injured a hip in Sunday's 19-12 loss at Carolina. The former LSU player will have missed 22 games in three seasons, most of them because of injury. Elevated to the No. 3 receiver spot this year with the departure of Anquan Boldin, Doucet is third on the team with 26 catches for 291 yards and one touchdown. Rookie Andre Roberts will take Doucet's spot as the team's No. 3 receiver behind Larry Fitzgerald and Steve Breaston.
