The Chiefs' leading receiver had already been ruled out of Sunday's game at Oakland. Bowe was playing this season on a $9.5 million deal as the team's franchise player, and it's possible the two sides could agree on a new deal or the Chiefs could franchise him again.
Bowe left Sunday's game against Cincinnati with a neck injury and left tackle Branden Albert left with a back injury, while Bengals cornerback Terence Newman was sidelined with a concussion.|||||||
Bowe was being covered on a deep pass down the sideline when he leaped up, bobbled the ball and then landed hard on the turf at Arrowhead Stadium. He was checked by several trainers on the bench, retreated to the locker room and then re-emerged without his helmet.

Kansas City's quarterback play continues to hinder Bowe's fantasy value, as he's caught only 49 of 91 targets this season.
