Jackson sustained a head injury in Sunday's loss to the Giants. Jackson, the only player in the NFL with two interceptions and two sacks, appears on track to play Sunday as the Browns (0-5) host Cincinnati. Jackson recorded three sacks and a pick when the Browns lost to the Bengals last month.

Jackson had just returned to practice this week from a partially torn chest muscle sustained in training camp on Aug. 10. He practiced on Wednesday, but felt tightness and fatigue in his pectoral muscle on Thursday.

Coach Eric Mangini said Thursday that there is no current plan for Jackson to have surgery. The Browns intend to have the injury to Jackson's pectoral muscle "quiet down" for a few weeks. Jackson missed Cleveland's final 10 games last season after tearing his left pectoral muscle against Pittsburgh and undergoing surgery.
