The Baltimore Ravens have placed cornerback Domonique Foxworth on injured reserve after he failed to sufficiently recover from a knee injury.||||||| Foxworth missed all of last season after hurting his right knee in training camp. He played two games this year but was inactive last week against St. Louis. During this past offseason, Foxworth - the team's player representative - worked closely with the union in their negotiations with owners during the lockout.

Foxworth will miss the season with a torn ACL.||||||| The veteran was hurt Thursday during an informal practice period. Coach John Harbaugh said Friday that Foxworth tore his ACL without being touched. The Ravens already had two cornerbacks, Lardarius Webb and Fabian Washington, coming back from knee injuries. Foxworth had four interceptions last season.

The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms Foxworth on a four-year, $28 million contract that includes $16.5 million in guaranteed money.||||||| The former Maryland player drafted by the Denver Broncos in the third round of the 2005 NFL draft will be introduced at a press conference at the Ravens' training complex Friday afternoon. Foxworth was traded to the Falcons for a seventh-round draft pick last year.

The Broncos traded Foxworth to the Falcons on Tuesday for an undisclosed draft choice in 2009.||||||| Foxworth, a fourth-year pro, became expendable when the Broncos claimed cornerback Calvin Lowry off waivers from the Tennessee Titans this week. Foxworth averaged 55 tackles and 11 pass breakups in his three seasons in Denver, where he played cornerback, safety and nickel back. He totaled 166 tackles and three interceptions in 46 games, including 18 starts.
