The New York Giants have been awarded offensive tackle D.J. Jones on waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles. The club announced the move Saturday and said it had waived third-year guard Mitch Petrus to make room on the 53-man roster.|||||||
Jones spent most of last season on the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad. The Eagles claimed him off waivers on Feb. 6 and waived him Friday.
