The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms with Lutui on a one-year deal.||||||| Lutui played for head coach Pete Carroll at USC before spending the last six seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. Lutui could potentially challenge for the starting job at left guard after the release of Robert Gallery last month.

The Bengals have agreed on contract terms with Lutui.||||||| Lutui started 72 games for the Cardinals from 2006-10. He was one of Arizona's 15 unrestricted free agents. Getting depth for the line was one of Cincinnati's priorities heading into the offseason.

Late in the loss to the 49ers, TV cameras showed quarterback Derek Anderson sharing a laugh with Lutui on the sideline.||||||| Lutui is part of an abysmal offensive line that has produced the second-worst rushing attack in the NFL - ahead of only NFC West rival Seattle. Now he seems to be a distraction to the starting quarterback. Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt said he didn't see Anderson and Lutui smiling, and didn't want to comment until he saw the tape.

Lutui has signed his one-year qualifying offer from the Cardinals.||||||| Lutui had to sign the offer of about $1.8 million by Tuesday or the Cardinals would have reduced it to about $588,000 - 110 percent of his 2009 pay. Lutui has started every game for the past two seasons. He was hoping for a long-term contract but the Cardinals made it clear that was not going to happen.
