The Green Bay Packers have placed Bishop on injured reserve, ending his season.||||||| Bishop tore his right hamstring in the team's first preseason game at San Diego. Packers coach Mike McCarthy said at the time that Bishop's season was in jeopardy. He had to have surgery, so Monday's move was widely expected.

Bishop didn't get to join his teammates at the White House because he forgot his ID on the team plane. Bishop was sure he had his wallet when he got on a team bus from the airport to the White House last Friday, as the Packers prepared to finally make their lockout-delayed visit. When security began checking IDs, Bishop suddenly realized he didn't have his.||||||| Bishop says White House security wasn't willing to make an exception to let him in without identification, so he had to stay on the team bus. Bishop said he called his family, updated his Twitter account and took a nap while his teammates met President Barack Obama.
