Ward missed practice Wednesday.||||||| He isn't expected to play this week because of an ankle injury that kept him out of Week 2. Speculation has it of the high-ankle variety, which could mean additional time off.

Ward rushed for 80 yards on 12 carries, including a 33-yard TD in Sunday's 31-24 win at Oakland.||||||| It marked the best effort for Ward since he ran for 215 yards two years ago with the Giants against Carolina. Ironically, Ward's next game is against the Giants so he may be extra motivated against the team that refused to pay him big money, allowing him to leave for an ill-fated season with Tampa Bay that nearly derailed his career.

Ward had 13 carries for 48 yards in the Bucs' 35-7 loss to New England in London on Sunday.||||||| Based on the fact that Tampa Bay is trailing in every game and Ward is in a time share with Cadillac Williams, the former Giant has been a very disappointing fantasy back this year, and that doesn't seem likely to change soon.
