The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms on a deal with Harvey, a former first-round draft pick cut by the Jaguars last week.||||||| The former Florida star's production never matched his potential in Jacksonville, which selected the defensive MVP of the 2006 Bowl Championship Series title game with the eighth overall pick in the 2009 draft. Harvey tallied a meager eight sacks in three seasons with the Jaguars. He'll be looking to jump-start his career as a backup in Denver, where the Broncos are returning to the 4-3 scheme with Elvis Dumervil and Robert Ayers as the starters.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have given up on Harvey, releasing the defensive end after three disappointing seasons.||||||| Harvey had just eight sacks in 47 career games, including 32 starts. The Jaguars traded up to select Harvey with the eighth overall pick in 2008 and gave him a five-year, $33.4 million contract that included $17.4 million guaranteed. But his production never matched his potential. He was benched last season.

But his production never matched his potential. Harvey, the defensive MVP of the 2006 Bowl Championship Series title game, has 126 tackles and just six sacks despite playing every game in his three seasons.

Coach Jack Del Rio indicated Monday that Harvey will see less playing time, a move predicated on Harvey's lack of production this season.||||||| Harvey could be on the way out of Jacksonville. His snaps have dropped steadily this season, going from 49 in the opener to 28 against the Colts. He could have even fewer against the Bills.
