Anderson says he has agreed to a one-year contract to remain with the Carolina Panthers as Cam Newton's backup. Anderson says he will sign the contract later Wednesday. Financial details were not disclosed.|||||||
Anderson told The Associated Press he's "excited to come back be a part of such a great locker room." He says Carolina is a team "on the rise" and though the Panthers "have some work to do ... we feel like we ended on a high note last season."
