The Broncos have claimed Pressley off waivers to bolster their depleted defensive line.||||||| Earlier in the week, the Broncos lost Marcus Thomas (strained pectoral) and Ty Warren (torn triceps) for an indefinite amount of time. The 6-foot-3, 301-pound Pressley became available when he was released by Indianapolis. Pressley is a fourth-year player out of North Carolina State. He appeared in one game for Houston last season.

The Saints signed Pressley from the practice squad to the active roster.||||||| Pressley, a second-year lineman out of North Carolina State, was selected by the Saints in the fifth round of the 2008 draft. The 6-foot-3, 301-pounder spent his rookie season on injured reserve rehabbing a foot injury suffered early in training camp.

Pressley was placed on injured reserve by the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, forcing the fifth-round draft pick to miss his rookie season. He fractured his right foot in practice Saturday.||||||| The 6-foot-3, 301-pound Pressley was the first of the team's two fifth-round selections, taken 144th overall out of North Carolina State. Placing Pressley on injured reserve opened a roster spot, which the Saints filled by signing free agent defensive end Marquies Gunn.

The Saints signed Pressley to a three-year contract Tuesday.||||||| Pressley, a defensive tackle out of North Carolina State, is the first of the Saints' six draft picks to agree to contract terms. Pressley, a 6-foot-3, 301-pound native of Greensboro, N.C., was the first of the Saints' two fifth-round selection, picked 144th overall. Pressley started 31 of 42 games for the Wolf Pack, finishing his college career with 145 tackles, 4 1/2 sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
