Vobora took the majority of snaps with the first string Wednesday in his first practice since a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. The second-year player says he did nothing wrong and intends to file a lawsuit over the matter.||||||| Vobora said he was informed of the pending suspension in July and dropped his appeal of the decision. Vobora accepted the suspension after sustaining a concussion against the Packers, which would have sidelined him for a week anyway.

Vobora is expected to start against the Detroit Lions on Sunday after serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance enhancing substances. The second-year player has said he plans to file a lawsuit, claiming he took supplements that he checked on through the NFL hot line.||||||| The NFL made the announcement Tuesday and said Vobora's suspension begins immediately. He can return to the active roster Oct. 26. Vobora was the last overall pick of last year's draft. He became a starter this year.

The Rams elevated Vobora from the practice squad to the roster. He replaced Chris Draft, who broke his foot Sunday and will be out three to six weeks.||||||| Vobora was the last player chosen in the 2008 draft.

The Rams announced Tuesday they have agreed to terms with linebacker David Vobora, the ``Mr. Irrelevant'' as the last player chosen in the 2008 draft. Terms of the three-year contract were not disclosed.||||||| Vobora, from the University of Idaho, had 148 tackles and was All-Western Athletic Conference his senior season.
