General manager Buddy Nix says he informed Nelson's agent of the decision Sunday. The Bills reached a similar decision with receiver Donald Jones earlier this month.||||||| The move wasn't entirely a surprise for Nelson, who anticipated the possibility after the Bills fired coach Chan Gailey.
