The Bengals have lost right tackle Stacy Andrews, who signed with Philadelphia, and second-string quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who went to Buffalo as a free agent.

Blackstock, a third-round draft pick out of Virginia in 2005, boasted that he was ready to win the linebacking job. "I know I'm going to take it," he said. "I've been standing there too long, man. I'm ready to play. I'm more than ready to play." Blackstock made one start in 16 games last season, and finished with six tackles.
