In 2012, Heyward-Bey started 14 games and had 41 receptions for 606 yards and a career-high five touchdowns. Heyward-Bey has 140 receptions for 2,071 yards and 11 touchdowns since being selected by Oakland with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 draft. Over the past four seasons, he led the Raiders in receptions and yards receiving, while finishing second in touchdowns behind Denarius Moore (12).
The Indianapolis Colts next free agent target is Heyward-Bey. Indy, which has already signed eight players from other teams, has invited Heyward-Bey for a two-day visit that was supposed to begin Monday. The information was first posted on the team's website.|||||||
Oakland took Heyward-Bey with the seventh overall pick in the draft in 2009 but never lived up to the hype. In four seasons, he has 140 career receptions for 2,071 yards and 11 touchdown catches. He was released by the Raiders earlier this month.

Heyward-Bey still has no recollection of the devastating hit by Pittsburgh safety Ryan Mundy last week that left him with a concussion and neck strain.|||||||
Speaking to reporters for the first time since being carted off the field and hospitalized overnight following the play, Heyward-Bey said he's seen television replays of the hit but otherwise has no memory of it. Heyward-Bey attended practice Friday as an observer but is doubtful to play in Sunday's game against AFC West rival Denver.
