Revis reported Monday for the first day of the team's voluntary offseason conditioning program, a few hours after having an MRI exam at a hospital in Manhattan.||||||| Revis, who has been rehabilitating his surgically repaired left knee in Arizona, did not speak with reporters who were waiting outside the entrance to the Jets' training complex, driving past without acknowledging them.

Revis has started to run again as he rehabilitates from a torn knee ligament while his future with the New York Jets remains uncertain. The star cornerback, sidelined most of last season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, is shown running on a treadmill and doing a variety of drills in a segment on NFL Network that aired Thursday.||||||| Revis, the subject of trade rumors, will report to the team's practice facility in Florham Park, N.J., on Monday for the start of voluntary workouts. Revis didn't address the trade rumors, but says, "We'll see what happens." Revis will meet with his surgeon Russell Warren, the Giants' team doctor, in Manhattan and have an MRI exam Monday before heading to the Jets' facility.

Revis needs to participate in the New York Jets' voluntary workouts beginning next week, according to a clause in his contract, to collect $3 million in bonuses he's scheduled to earn.||||||| The star cornerback, the subject of trade rumors, has been rehabilitating his surgically repaired left knee in Arizona, but is expected to report to the team's facility in Florham Park, N.J., for the start of the Jets' offseason conditioning program next week. ESPN New York first reported on Sunday, according to sources, that the Jets planned to enforce the language in Revis' contract that requires him to participate in the workouts to get the bonus money.

Jets star cornerback Darrelle Revis, the subject of trade rumors, has earned a $1 million roster bonus as a result of a clause in his contract with New York.||||||| According to the clause, the bonus kicked in on Saturday since Revis remains on the Jets' roster - not traded or cut - at the end of the business day. There has been intense speculation over several weeks that the Jets will try to trade their best player, who is recovering from a torn knee ligament. Some believed that move could come by Saturday so the Jets could avoid the clause, but Revis' bonus counts on the Jets' salary cap, whether or not he stays on the team.
Posted Jan. 25, 2013
A few hours after Revis said he was "speechless" about rampant trade talk, new Jets general manager John Idzik reached out to the star cornerback Thursday to ask to "give us a chance" to evaluate the entire roster.||||||| Idzik told NBC's Pro Football Talk on Friday that Revis "reacted well" to the phone call, which came after the GM, owner Woody Johnson and coach Rex Ryan were non-committal about the cornerback's future with the team. Revis expressed his frustration on Twitter, prompting the call from Idzik, introduced as the replacement for the fired Mike Tannenbaum hours earlier. Revis, recovering from a knee injury, is expected to draw plenty of trade interest.
