The Bills have signed McIntyre to a two-year, $1.85 million contract extension that runs through the 2012 season.||||||| The deal could be worth more if McIntyre meets several incentive clauses and comes as he prepares for his third year in Buffalo and sixth in the NFL. After practice Monday, McIntyre was pleased with the confidence the Bills showed in him by approaching his agent last month to discuss the possibility of a new contract. Used as a fullback and on special teams, he has five carries for 34 yards and nine catches for 54 yards in 26 games with the Bills.

A misdemeanor charge against McIntyre will be dropped after police say a witness offered questionable statements. Prosecutors in Port Lucie, Fla., say the victim's identification of McIntyre as the suspect was questionable. McIntyre was arrested last month on accusations that he fondled himself outside a Port St. Lucie woman's home about 100 miles north of Miami. The incident occurred in March. McIntyre had been free on $10,000 bond.||||||| McIntyre has denied the charge, and said Wednesday he is happy his name has been cleared. Police suspect another man may be the culprit, and McIntyre was misidentified. McIntyre has said he was out riding his bike in the area as part of his regular workout on the night he was arrested.

McIntyre has been arrested in Florida on accusations he fondled himself outside a Port St. Lucie woman's home. A spokesman for the Port St. Lucie Police says a woman claimed the player knocked on her window during the act, then fled. Police later spotted him on a bicycle.||||||| The incident allegedly happened about two months ago, but the 29-year-old McIntyre was arrested Thursday and charged with exposing sexual organs. The charge is a misdemeanor and required a warrant for his arrest, which led to the lag time until McIntyre was jailed. A man listed as McIntyre's agent did not return calls seeking comment. The player was released from Martin County Jail on $10,000 bond.
