McCoy's trade to the San Francisco 49ers has been finalized after the quarterback passed a physical Tuesday.||||||| McCoy showed up in Cleveland on Monday for the start of offseason conditioning only to learn he was headed West to play for ex-NFL quarterback Jim Harbaugh and the two-time reigning NFC West champion Niners. San Francisco is sending a pair of undisclosed draft picks to the Browns.

McCoy, who became expendable when Cleveland signed veteran free agent Jason Campbell last week, was traded Monday to the San Francisco 49ers, a person familiar with the deal told The Associated Press. McCoy, who had yet to throw a pass this season, replaced injured starter Brandon Weeden in the third quarter on Sunday.||||||| Weeden left the game with a right shoulder injury after being sacked by Broncos linebacker Von Miller. Weeden couldn't avoid the heavy rush and went down hard. After walking off the field, the rookie slammed his helmet on the bench. Weeden was taken into the locker room and his return was questionable.
