The New York Giants have waived Sintim after he failed a physical.|||||||
The Giants announced the move Thursday. Sintim suffered knee injuries in each of the past two season. The 2009 second-round draft pick has been on the physically unable to perform list.
A day after suffering a major knee injury in the preseason finale, Sintim has been placed on injured reserve by the New York Giants.|||||||
Sintim, a third-year pro, tore the anterior cruciate ligament and patellar tendon in his right knee early in the second half against the New England Patriots on Thursday night.

Sintim was injured Thursday night in the Giants' 18-17 preseason win over the New England Patriots. After the game coach Tom Coughlin said all he knew about the injury was that it's "bad."
