The offense's dreadful performance in the playoff game against Green Bay with him on the sideline probably didn't hurt his standing, either.|||||||
Ponder was a late scratch Saturday night because of a bruised triceps and backup Joe Webb was unable to get anything going in a 24-10 loss that ended Minnesota's surprising season. If the Vikings make any moves at quarterback, it could be to add a veteran backup to Ponder.
