The Tennessee Titans have agreed to one-year contracts with receiver Kevin Walter and Spencer. The Titans announced the deals Monday.||||||| General manager Ruston Webster says both players are established veterans with plenty of starting experience who can help add to competition with the Titans. Spencer is an eight-year veteran with 89 starts in his 105 games played.

Chicago Bears offensive lineman Chris Spencer has a broken bone in his right hand.||||||| Coach Lovie Smith says Spencer suffered a "small fracture" early in Sunday's 34-29 victory over Carolina. He returned in the second half, and Smith says he will "hopefully" be ready for next Monday night's game against Detroit. Spencer made his third straight start at right guard after Lance Louis sustained an ankle injury

Spencer has agreed to a two-year deal with the Bears, taking over for Olin Kreutz at center.||||||| The 29-year-old Spencer was the 26th overall pick by Seattle in the 2005 draft. The Bears allowed a league-leading 56 sacks, and although the protection improved as the season wore on, that unit remains a big question mark, particularly with its leader now gone.
