Chamberlain was hurt on a running play in the second quarter. He was not credited with the tackle but was near the scrum where Montell Owens was taken down. He remained down for several minutes before being helped to his feet and off the field with a trainer under each arm. He put only minimal weight on his left leg. Trainers appeared to be examining his knee on the sideline, then took him to the locker room on a cart.
Chamberlain will be sidelined six to eight weeks with turf toe on his left foot, an injury that left him wearing a cast.|||||||
