The Baltimore Ravens have placed cornerbacks Chris Carr and Chykie Brown on the inactive list for Sunday's playoff game against the Houston Texans.||||||| Carr missed seven games during the regular season with thigh and back injuries, although he did see action in the final three games. Brown played on special teams in the finale against Cincinnati and participated in only seven games this season.

Carr has signed a four-year contract to stay with the Baltimore Ravens.||||||| Carr says there were "numerous teams" interested in signing him, and that he "almost did leave," always smart things to say after just signing a contract. Carr started in all 16 games with the Ravens last season as a fill-in for the injured Domonique Foxworth. He finished with two interceptions, 56 tackles and forced three fumbles.

The Baltimore Ravens have signed Carr and waived veteran Samari Rolle.||||||| Carr signed a 2-year, $5 million deal Wednesday, while cutting Rolle saves the team $4.1 million under the salary cap. Carr is expected to back up Fabian Washington and Domonique Foxworth and return kicks. The four-year veteran played for the Oakland Raiders from 2005-07 and the Tennessee Titans last year.

Cornerback and kick returner Chris Carr officially joined the Tennessee Titans when the Oakland Raiders declined to match Tennessee's offer sheet.||||||| Tennessee hopes to improve its return game with the addition of Carr, the Raiders' career leader in kickoff returns with 201 and kickoff return yards with 4,841. The Titans signed Carr, a restricted free agent, a week ago. The Raiders had until Friday night to match the contract. The Titans said Saturday that Oakland had declined to match the offer sheet.
