Coach Tom Cable made the announcement Monday about Schilens' latest injury. Cable says it likely is a result of Schilens overcompensating for his injured left foot. He had 29 catches for 365 yards and two touchdowns, but needed another operation after the season to help the foot fully heal. Cable says he hopes Schilens would be back by the opener Sept. 12 at Tennessee if he needs the surgery.
