West had three catches for a team-high 38 yards and a score Thursday in a 41-14 loss at Atlanta.||||||| The Jags have such an inept offense that West is shaping up as the kind of fantasy player comparable to Marge Gunderson in "Fargo," a hero who turns out to be someone you would least expect.

The Jags have signed West off Green Bay's practice squad.||||||| West joined the Packers as an undrafted rookie in 2010 and spent the entire season on the club's practice squad. He led the Packers in the 2011 preseason with eight receptions for 153 yards. West might play Sunday at Carolina. Receivers Jason Hill (hip) and Kassim Osgood (hamstring) are recovering from injuries, and it's unclear whether they will be ready.
