Stuckey caught four passes for a career-high 64 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' 24-7 season-opening win over the Texans on Sunday.||||||| The TD catch was Stuckey's first since Week 3 of the 2008 season. The second-year receiver out of Clemson could benefit from having rookie Mark Sanchez under center. Sanchez looked more than capable in his NFL debut Sunday.

Stuckey had six catches for 42 yards and a touchdown on Sunday in the Jets' 48-29 loss at San Diego.||||||| Stuckey wasn't expected to contribute much in the passing game as a rookie, but he has a touchdown in each of his first three NFL games. On Sunday, he'll try to become the first Jet receiver to score in the team's first four games since Keyshawn Johnson in 1998.

Jets placed wide receiver Stuckey on injured reserve Wednesday, ending the rookie's season because of a foot injury.||||||| Stuckey, injury-prone throughout his college career at Clemson, injured his right foot last week and was inactive for the season opener against the New England Patriots. The nature and severity of the injury wasn't immediately known.

Stuckey, a seventh-round pick, signed with the New York Jets on Friday.||||||| Stuckey, who was sixth in Clemson history with 141 receptions and eighth with 1,760 yards receiving, will add depth for the Jets. He could also serve as a punt returner, along with first-round pick Darrelle Revis. Stuckey was productive in college despite being plagued by injuries, becoming the first Tigers player since 1940 to score a touchdown by pass, rush, punt return and reception.
