The Broncos have signed Bailey to a four-year deal, keeping the perennial Pro Bowl cornerback off the free agent market. John Elway, the Broncos' chief of football operations, announced the move in a series of tweets Tuesday afternoon.||||||| Elway called it a great day for the Broncos and their fans. Bailey recently played in his 10th Pro Bowl, a record for cornerbacks. He's coming off one of his better seasons in his seven stellar years in Denver. The team had pulled a four-year deal worth more than $40 million off the table in October but reopened talks with his representatives this month

John Elway says the Denver Broncos are trying to re-sign Bailey.||||||| In a series of tweets Thursday, the Broncos' new chief of football operations said the team is engaged in "constructive conversations" with Bailey's representatives about keeping the 32-year-old star in orange and blue. The Broncos decided not to place their franchise tag on Bailey, who just completed his seven-year $63 million contract with a 10th Pro Bowl berth, a record for cornerbacks.

Bailey is heading to his 10th Pro Bowl, a record for cornerbacks. He was notified by the NFL on Thursday that he was being added to the AFC roster, replacing Oakland's Nnamdi Asomugha, who is skipping the all-star game for medical reasons.||||||| Bailey's 10th Pro Bowl appearance will break a tie he held with Hall of Famer Mike Haynes for most Pro Bowl appearances by a cornerback. Bailey missed the final game of the season, against San Diego, because of a bruised right heel that bothered him almost the entire season but only sidelined him for the finale.
