The Bills announced the release of 19 players, including former second-round WR James Hardy.
Bills sign WR Jackson, re-sign CB Youboty
The Bills announced Wednesday that the team has signed free-agent WR Chad Jackson and re-signed CB Ashton Youboty, a restricted free agent.

Jackson signed with the Bills in March in a bid to revive his career after he had been out of football last season. He broke into the NFL in 2006 with New England as the team's second-round draft pick.
Jackson had five catches for 59 yards in the Bills' 28-23 loss to Detroit in their final preseason game Thursday.|||||||
Jackson had 10 catches for 111 yards with a fumble in two preseason games, but is buried on the depth chart. He has little fantasy value.
The Broncos have waived Jackson on Monday.|||||||
Jackson joined the Broncos as a free agent last October. He totaled eight kickoff returns for 162 yards and made a 19-yard catch in four regular-season games for Denver. Denver acquired Jackson after New England released him in August 2008. He was with the Patriots for two seasons.
The Patriots activated Jackson from the PUP list Wednesday.|||||||
Jackson was the team's second-round pick in the 2006 draft out of Florida and had 13 receptions for 152 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie last season. He also had four rushes for 22 yards, three punt returns for 76 yards and a 21-yard kickoff return. He doesn't have much fantasy value, but monitor his playing time to see if that changes.
Jackson missed Sunday's 17-7 loss to Denver with a hamstring injury.|||||||
The Patriots' rookie receiver has been bothered by the injury all season, but did play in a Week 2 victory over the Jets, catching two passes for 42 yards and a touchdown.
