Wide receiver Carlton Mitchell has been released by the Cleveland Browns, who trimmed their roster to 80. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Mitchell was drafted by the Browns in the sixth round in 2010. Mitchell appeared in 11 games last season. He caught three passes for 31 yards and the Browns had high hopes for the 24-year-old.
